Does anyone know why my IE keeps crashing? I scanned for viruses and spyware and had some spyware and deleted them using spy bot. But it still crashes once in awhile any ideas why?

Its a feature, you will find it in most microsoft products.

Sounds like a conflict of interest somewhere. Did you uninstall/delete the software the spyware was associated with? Have you checked the integrity of your windows files by running sfc /scannow recently? If not, then you might as well do a defrag too while you are at it.

That's assuming alpinestars used that feature when installing spybot. I would try hijack this (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html) and see what other parasites are embedded in the browser. Spybot is good, but not infallible.
