Azureus HELP

Ok this is how it goes. I just got azureus just 3 or 4 days back. Initially i was downloading a games at around 30-40 kB/s. But then , given the genius I am , i screwed around with the options in hopes of making it even faster at least the download speed. but what happened is that after that my connection stays around 15-20 kB/s and flactuautes a lot and always gets cut from it's cources and starts searching again.

So given that i uninstalled Azureus, deleted the folder and then i reinstalled it again . but magically my new azureus somehow loads the old options and i have no idea how to change them . anyhow i'd really appreciate if some one could tell me how to get rid of the old configuration/option files or approach my problem from some other way and help me get rid of it.

Get a Registry Cleaner utility & remove all registry entries from Azureus, then turn off your computer for at least 20 mins.! Reboot your computer, then do a clean install.

At least 20 mins???? wtf. Care to explain. Makes zero sense to me.
