Hey Snake, how did you make your own kazaa skin? The kazaa.com website doesnt have a tutorial yet, and kazaa lite which im using doesnt include the skins, which i think is a bad idea, because some people would prefer kazaa lite to include the skins instead of deleting them.

im not sure on this, so dont get upset if im wrong, but heres my explination. if you want to just change the images, you can create an image and replace the one in the skin folder. but if you want to create your own, new skin, you need to edit/create the .xml file. this is similar to an html file. you might be able to learn what to do by learning how to skin winamp3, as it also uses .xml

Snake, wow fine cool, u know how to do this, but people, including me, have asked for a how-to-do in these forums for quite awhile..howcome you havent replied if you know? Howcome you dont tell us how to edit the xml file now? Is it too hard for you to explain or does your anarchism only go so far, and you want to be the only one who can make skins untill some skinner comes around and your name will slip into oblivion again? Please reinstate my belief in you by educating the people...

umm dunno whats wrong with you, and what does anarchism has to do with making skins?

i said i just edited the xml file and made/edited the images. all you need is a good graphics program like psp 7 and to edit xml you need notepad, xml aint that difficult its like html. and im not good making how tos, to start english is my second language.

There are more skinners out there and i aint some sort of god for making this skin.

Sides this is just a beat release, im still working on it.

Hey snake

If you know how to use reshacker you can expot the original bitmap files for the non skined kazaa instaed of just trying to copy it from different skins

It is in skin folder and it is not available when i try to change skins.

i guess i had to restart KL.

yeah i had that problem once almost uninstall it, you need to restart kazaa for it to see new skins in the folder
