Whenever i've used bittorrent i cannot turn off my pc it gets stuck on saving settings part (i've left it overnight on that screen and it's still there in the morning) it also stops me from conecting to the internet again if i disconnect until i restart the comp, i've tried a lot of bt clients and get the same results. Anyone know a way to fix this please?

Thanks for making your own thread on this, now you can get the attention you need.
Come back and give us all the information about your operating system, what you had running at the time, your internet connection type, what kind of mood it was in, everything you can think of.
I especially want to know what kind of Network card you have, AND for you to check the Start > Run > compmgmt.msc > Event Viewer > System . . . look for any 4226 errors.
If you see that or any ID10T errors, let me know
