Overnet Help!!!

ok i got overnet, and everything was goin great, lots of users with my files and stuff, but now they have all basically disappeared. i dunno whats up, there is only like 5-10 users on the files, if that. i used to have around 50. im not sure what happened. i have a hunch that it might be from when i changed the port forwarding things to get blubster to work, but im not sure

any suggestions would be great

P.S. this is off the subject, but is there an iTunes for windows, or some tool that will make it work with windows

Probably your contacts list has become stale. Exit Overnet if you have it running and go to your overnet directory (where the exe is, not your downloads) and delete "contact.dat". When you run overnet next, it'll ask you for a boot ip (if you're running the GUI). To get a boot ip go to http://kickme.to/FlockHelpApp (note that only IP address work directly in ON, if you want to use the named address you have to resolve them manually or install FlockHelpApp). Overnet should then be able to grab new contacts and be fine.

Oh, if you're running Overnet command line, use the "boot" command. > boot <ip number> <port number>

ok well i tried that and it didnt work. i probably did it wrong tho. but it was confusing. will reinstalling it do the trick

I would help you but i not seem to be able to download .NET framework using autoupdate of windows inside, it get to 300k then always just pauseing for Looooooooong time then it crash.

Do someone know from where i get .NET using Save Target As type thing, also is Overnet much better then Donkey and will somoene be killing Donkey or Locking Donkey away fro long time and neglecting it or even maybe just leaving as it is with no more food or maybe it will be Adopted by somebodies else like Kazaa or DC or someones else.
