Its been a while now since Zeropaid had a chatroom, but i thought its about time we started up a new chatroom, where we could all talk about .... bullshit, anything and everything!

Good or bad idea? lets hear your views!

Chatting is not something I care to do at the best of times. I do have a few friends I chat with on msn and yahoo, but even those I only turn on once or twice a month. ZP chat is something I would never use. If the ZP majority would like it, I certainly would support the idea, but otherwise, not for me.

yeah, i used to go to it to, until it closed and redirected people to #beatbox instead.

Well, the one I am talking about doesn't re-direct any more, and yes, I am fully aware that it used to.

Not really sure it matters though, if your going to talk to ZP members whats it matter what the name of the room is?

The chat link on zp's main page was taken down for some really stupid reasons. Maybe now with the "community" voice being a little different, it could work. It just wouldn't be the same.

It wasn't anything really related to zp that killed the IRC room. It just faded in time.

What killed the RELATIONSHIP between zp and the IRC room was definitely firmly rooted here... on the forums and between certain individuals.

The name of the IRC room was changed, so there was no longer that link between the two.

Well if we all put a little bit of our time, while on the forums, into the chatroom, we could make it work again.

Perhaps they could put the link to chat back up and we could get this shit going again!

Beatbox was created because I was a little pissed about the ZP chat icon being deleted. the users of the ZP IRC chat at the time had a more positive relationship with Beatking at the time, and I thought it was a cooler name than #Zeropaid (which implied that we were owned or authorized by ZP, which we definitely were not).

Beatbox had a good identity, then people started to get bored of it and went to other rooms; I was only there because I liked the posters of ZP at the time... but the moderation and slant of ZP at the time turned some people off...

Sorry dude, don't recall. I missed out on the horrors. Though, I probably would have sat back, laughed, and enjoyed it. I really didn't jump into the frey untill this year. Just been a long time unregistered lurker.

Though, I did jump in at a time when there were a lot of people making whiney ass threads about how everyone was picking on them, and they weren't coming back. I really didn't get the point. I guess between you, grab, and notbob, people can't really hold on to those "I dont' give a shit" torches they constantly wave.
