Not that I'm a user of this program, but I know a lot of people are (especially on this site) and would appreciate the thread.

Firefox is the award winning next generation browser from Mozilla. Firefox empowers you to browse faster, more safely, and more efficiently than with any other browser. Make the switch today - Firefox imports your Favorites, settings and other information, so you have nothing to lose.Changes in 1.5 Beta 1:
• Automated update to streamline product upgrades. Notification of an update is more prominent, and updates to Firefox may now be half a megabyte or smaller. Updating extensions has also improved.
• Faster browser navigation with improvements to back and forward button performance.
• Drag and drop reordering for browser tabs.
• Improvements to popup blocking.
• Clear Private Data feature provides an easy way to quickly remove personal data through a menu item or keyboard shortcut.
• Answers.com is added to the search engine list.
• Improvements to product usability including descriptive error pages, redesigned options menu, RSS discovery, and "Safe Mode" experience.
• Better accessibility including support for DHTML accessibility and assistive technologies such as the Window-Eyes 5.5 beta screen reader for Microsoft Windows. Screen readers read aloud all available information in applications and documents or show the information on a Braille display, enabling blind and visually impaired users to use equivalent software functionality as their sighted peers.
• Report a broken Web site wizard to report Web sites that are not working in Firefox.
• Better support for Mac OS X (10.2 and greater) including profile migration from Safari and Mac Internet Explorer.
• New support for Web Standards including SVG, CSS 2 and CSS 3, and JavaScript 1.6.
• Many security enhancements.
• List of notable bug fixes since Deer Park Alpha 2

I dont like it, i use Internet Explorer a lot, i'd rather use Firefix 1.0.x then this, for example when cleaning data, cookies and hostory, you need to clear them one by one in this version, you could do them all together in 1.0.x.

SWEET!! Finally a real updating system...going to get it now; was impressed by the Gecko 1.8 engine in DP Alpha2, hopefully they made some more improvements :D

Mozilla Firefox 1.5 Beta is a great browser. It loads faster and renders pages faster than previous versions.
It is more secure and is much better at blocking pop-ups on the internet than previous versions. The option to clear private data is better than ever .Updates are much easier than they were previously and although many old extensions don't work now, some of the new or updated ones are awesome . My favorites are :

1. Forecast Fox- places icons in the lower right corner of the browser page that show what the current weather is like in many different cities including Edmonton, Alberta.
2. StumbleUpon- requires free registration but takes to many cool websites thay you may not have been aware of otherwise .
3.Infolister- shows all extensions and indicates whether they are enabled or disabled, shows themes and plug-ins installed.
4.Gmail notifier - great link to gmail. :icon_cycl
