Please, let's all bow our heads in sorrow......................
Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Mr. Common Sense.
Mr. Sense had been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.
He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm and that life isn't always fair.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not kids, are in charge).
His health began to rapidly deteriorate when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.
Mr. Sense declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer aspirin to a student; but, could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.
Finally, Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.
Common Sense finally gave up the ghost after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot, she spilled a bit in her lap,and was awarded a huge settlement.
Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust, his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by two stepbrothers; My Rights and Ima Whiner. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.
If you still remember him, then great; if not, join the majority and do nothing.

It's possible! Common Sense?! In other words, now day's Common Sense is Dead! Almost noone in this world has it anymore!
People act before they think first now days! Therefore, common sense would make a person think before they acted!

Common Sense is not profitable.
Common Sense it not profitable? I disagree! If your talking about "profitable" as in "Money" or something like that, then Common Sense is profitable!
You have to have common sense in order to know what to buy, sell, build, etc. in order to make that profit!

Great post!
Do you think Mr. Sense would have stayed in New Orleans despite all the warnings of Katrina? I guess we'll never know since he's already passed.

For some people it's hard to give up everything they've known and loved for so long. To most matteral poessions mean nothing but it's also a way of life that's hard to give up. I wonder how many of us would have stayed. I fot one would have stayed, not to protect matterial things but to protect a way of life and to help preserve it.

Why don't you learn what "Spam" Is!? What I posted is not "Spam"
"Spam" is usually someone or something advertising/trying to sell crap! This post I started is not trying to do either!
So open your eyes! And banning? HAHAHAHA, What good would that do? I would just signup with a different email address and user name!

Well, I can say that the Mayor there didn't have any common sense! From what I've heard, before the flood even came, they could have used the school buses to get people out, but the "commonsenseless" Mayor didn't want to do that because they were not "GreyHound" buses!

Actually, it is. I read this easily a year ago and it was sent to me and many others. Via email. Spam is anything that is sent to mass people. Whether is be email or BBS.
While this thread is not spam due to the overwhelming support you have garnered, don't assume you're secure by creating an alternate member name in the event of a banning.

You are wrong.

Even in the cacophony of retardation which is often zeropaid your posts would still be uniquely moronic and easily detectable.

If you don't like my posts, then don't read them, and don't reply to them! It's as simple as that!
