I've been using alcohol 120 for a few years now and I recall being able to mount an image straight from the virtual drives under my computer, now I can't mount an image unless I open the alcohol program itself. I don't remember which version I had that let me do that but the version I have now is 1.9.5.2802. Any help would of course be appreciated.

I would like you t go to OPTIONS > VIRTUAL DRIVE > SHELL EXTENSIONS

Select all, then OK

Now launch EXPLORER and see if the MOUNT is an option

daemon, isobuster, alchhol120

The problem is just the order in which you install your apps, the associations get changed.

No dice, selected them all, hit ok, exited out, opened up my computer, checked all my virtual drives(5 of them) and still no option. I also have daemon tools installed, think that there is a conflict?

Did you reboot?

BTW, you can also get newer version, try v1.9.5.3105.

Ahhh I see, I had to re read ur post.

When I right click on my V-drive, I see Mount > and I can browse to the file in an expanded menu I gather this is what you can no longer do?

I would either use the Option menu and the "Reset to default" button, or reinstall Alchohol120.

Try just reinstalling the app and see how it goes.

Newbie here....I feel like a total idiot...which I probably am, but nonetheless I need your help.

I am trying to use a file. It has the following directions. Can someone please help?

1 Unpack it.

2 Mount CD1/CD2/CD3 respectively, using Alcohol 120% v1.9.5.2802.

3 Install.

4 Re-Mount the CD1 (.MDS) file in Alcohol 120% v1.9.5.2802.

5 Play

I upacked it, burned it to three cds, installed it, and tried to execute the program. It would not work and kept telling me to insert disc 1. I am not sure what to do with all the mounting...

Thanks in advance guys!

The game will need a NoCD crack to play without loading CD 1 everytime!

First of all . . . get ur OWN THREAD

Second of all, if you want game crack instructions, go to a game site.

We need to stop piggy-backing multiple problems in each thread. Make newbies make new posts.

Most forums I have visited try NOT to have users create 8000 threads per day so I really couldnt find a better thread to put my question regarding Alcohol 120 than the thread titled "Question regarding Alcohol 120"

Thanks for welcoming me to the forum though. I will be sure to run everything by you from now on. I am thinking about running to the store for some JuicE and bRead. That oK with you?

We don't mind if a thread is created with a problem like your own as it is a normal problem which would be gladly answered for you. Sticking into another thread, well why bother. Make a thread about it - it's when noobs make multiple threads and keep bumping them thats annoying!

PS: Your first ISO image will most likely contain a CRACK folder or something similar with a patch or a set of files to be replace with the original ones in the C:\Program Files\xxx\ folder ( where xxx is the game directory)

That has always been my experience as well. This particular one has the crack, which isnt the problem. I can install the game, I can burn the cds, the problem is that when I run the game it keeps asking me to input cd #1 (which of course is in the cd drive already). I know the cd works, I had to use it to install the game. Thats why I posted the question.

I havent had experience with mounting stuff. I thought that was just for MAC.

I appreciate your response.

It's easier to keep track of what the hell is going on, and who's problem gets solved if you have your own thread with your own particular nuances. And since there are really only a handful of people here that answer 90% of the questions, my vote counts. If you dont like it, go somewhere else. Your feeble attempt at sarcasm is wasted on me.

And what did I tell you about crack conversations? That goes for everyone.
