I recently installed LimeWire on my PC (Windows 98 r2), and with the install came Limeshop.

Since then, I have found out exactly what Limeshop does, and obviously don't want it on my system. However, even after uninstalling Limewire, it's still there. How do I get rid of it.

In Add/Remove Programs there was no mention of Limeshop, so I couldn't uninstall it there. I did uninstall TopMoxie, which seems to be powering Limeshop, but when I right-click on a link on a webpage, 'LimeShop Preferences' option comes up, although if I click it nothing happens.

How do I get rid of LimeShop and this annoying addition to the righ-click menu?

Cheers

Tim

thats why i fucking hate limewire

besides its still just a pretty gnutella client, if you want a serious gnutella client, go for gnucleus

free, always developed, basic, easy to use etc...

Limewire bundles software and is ad-supported. No spyware but still. Whatever happened to Aqualime? Is it still around with an up to date version that keeps up with Limewire releases?

Yes Aqualime is alive... But it hasn't updated because MO went back to his college and left his source code at home and he has a 1 GB computer currently...
