I have searched on Bear and the internet for a freeware Mpeg splitter, and have yet to kome up with a good one. The only one I DID find, split an Mpeg fine...the first half at least. The second half didn;t even play. So, I'm posting on here to hopefully find a solution. Does anyone know where I can find a good freeware Mpeg splitter program?

I'd have to agree with the rest, TMPGEnc is the way to go.
http://www.tmpgenc.net/ is the homepage.

What version of TMPGEnc are you using? I use to get some error like that when cutting my MPEGs, but that was due to an older version and Windows XP not working together correctly. The newest versions of TMPGEnc don't give me the error anymore, not sure which version my bug got fixed in. However, that bug said all that and I found that it didn't mean anything. I'd continue on and it would make my MPEGs come out fine, so maybe your error is different than mine.

The newest version is 2.58. My problem was fixed with Version 2.54. Yes, the newest version is free still. See the post above for the website link to download it. Hope this helps.
