What would Kazaa be without Spyware/Adware...... Kazaa lite right. But I don't think Kazaa would Ever stop using Spyware/Adware. There is still lots of people downloading it on Download.com and not many people knowing about Kazaa lite. So still Kazaa is doing great Business even though they don't have us getting it and it will always be that way. Unless we can get on everyones TV and so "Don't get Kazaa" I don't think we can do that.
I want to know how much spyware does Kazaa put on your computer becouse People keep saying Kazaa With DK is better then Kazaa lite. Is that true. When DK Comes out I will be getting Kazaa.
So what do you think of Kazaa and Spyware/Adware

More worrying than Spyware/Adware ( which are easily removed) is the new stealware Kazza and Morpheus are planting on your system. It cannot be removed even if you delete the host application. The only solution is to re-format your hard drive. Now that is lower than low.

That's twice now you have posted your "Re-format" nonsense. If you were an actual KaZaA user, you would know you can "opt-out" of all the extra's except Cydoor, which we all know how to deal with anyway...
If you are done exciting the "newbies" I suggest you wander back to the Gnutella/Shareaza Forums you usually frequent...

I read it the first time... Have you actually installed KaZaA so you really know what you are talking about? Where do you get the idea that a Re-format is the only method off removing something... I f you read the NY Times story then you must have seen the sidebar entitled "A Software Cleanup" ... Just go to Add and Remove programs and remove it...
But the simplest method of all is to decline the installation of all add-ons when installing KaZaA in the first place...

Most idiot users don't know what the frick spyware is so most of the newbie users don't know how it effects them until it whacks theier performance up. I mean look at Cnet.com's most downloaded list. Kazaa pulles in 2 million a week. That's 2 million that haven't a clue about BDE, stealware, the ads, and etc.
