FYI..the Opera web browser is turning 10 today and you can get a free ad-free version for FREE! Download.com is offering the link. Simply download the software, then register your email on Opera's main page and get a free activation code. No more text/graphic ads in the interface!

Why bother when you have IE and Firefox? Its a good browser that always had the ads. Now without the ads, this browser is on a level playing field. Give this one a try. For Windows, Mac, Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris.

This is not spam, or a joke.

I just experimented using a phony email, and it worked! You don't even need to use a valid email. Just enter in whatever, and submit to get code for whatever platform. And yes, Linux works too.

I thought opera was free?

It is free, as an ad-supported version (either banner or google text ads... I prefer the google ads).

I got a free copy of Opera 7.54 from ct-magazine, and payed 6 euro's (like $7.50USD) for the upgrade to Opera 8. Was well worth it, but I still prefer firefox.

Thankyou for calling me names, giving me negative rep, and assuming that my browser supports this feature.
