Tried this out and it looks like a good file sharing tool. Looks just like Direct Connect. However not alot of servers to connect to.

yeah... i agree. DC++ is the best, atleast now. have any of you tried out methods new prog tho? it could be a good alternative.

and wonderboy.. the reason you could only view your own files WAS because of your firewall.. if you go into advanced options and select 'passive searches'.. you'll find that you can search/browse everyones files. ;)

With the latest version, if u right-click on the XS logo.. you'll get a full help guide that covers just about everything (including the above!!).

Yea I like both of these progs better then reg dc(shitty layout) and even dc++(dc users dont like ++most likely ending in banning) but I can safely say that I like xs better then fileshare . It might need a lil more work then fileshare since the fact that its newer, but in the end I really do believe It'll come out on top :D..and did I mention it's totally decentralized - not centralized nor pesuado decentralized or however its spelled...
