Some KaZaA Questions

Hi, this is my first post so someone please reply, I've got a couple of questions.

Has anyone got KaZaA Plus Version 2 yet, I think it is so shitty that Sharmen Networks wants us to buy a version of it's Goverment chased p2p (it might only have a month to go according to some). I really want what is basically a KaZaA Lite V2 that supports "Skins" and the anti-virus software, but also has a much improved "Search More" fuction which I think is still unique to KaZaA alone. I wonder why other p2p have not got similar "Search More" buttons yet., hmmm?.Please someone direct me to a url that I can get the plus version from.

Also could somebody explain to me how all the KaZaA add-ons work (Diet K, Speedup and Participation crack are the only ones I use) and also could anyone also give me a url for getting Diet K with lemon, I've tried getting off p2p's but they never work and you still can't change the start page which i the reason why I want it.

hmm this may be more comments than help..lol...The kazaa plus v.2 isnt more than a rumour caused by deductions made from mysterious findings within kazaa and the url's, as far as I know..If you got one, by all means, let me know aswell! lol...uhm...the addons..how they technically work? No idea, I have too great hair to be nerdy enough for that, except that the hack tool obviously just uploads from yerself, and lacks one or two obvious features..The DietK is in my experience crap..It supposedly is basically an add remover and a feature that should increase the rate by which more sources is searched for. However, in my experience, it does not improve the overall downloadtime, nor do I see a higher percentage of the files actively downloading..it rather looks like it uses some of the bandwith or whatever because some downloads seem to slow down while its running, and a search more sources after pausing a remotely queued mostly wont be allowed while its running, while that almost always works without DietK running..Speedup Ive never heard of, does it work and where can I get it?

I was worried that KaZaA Plus v2 was just a rumour. Oh well maybe soon. Explains why I can't find it. For KaZaA SpeedUp go to http://www.fengli.tk/. There is another program of same name I think bundled in some versions of KaZaA Lite, not sure of the url, www.k-lite.tk I think (not at alll sure) I have used these and I think you do maybe get an extra 1kbs with it.

okay thanks 4 the speedup link man, seems to be much the same as dietK huh? Anyways, about the participation tool, the new one from Smash does the registry trick for you, nice! I still recommend the Intimidated tool for when you just want to boost yer level real quick without turning off kazaa, it is much quicker..

Kazaa Plus is definitely NOT a rumour. The files are all built into Kazaa v2.0. Check out these images I found built into the Program file (see attatchment). If you still don't believe me, download Resource Hacker. Open up the kazaa.exe (from Kazaa not Kazaa Lite) file in ResHacker and double-click on 'Bitmaps'. Double-click on '103', then click on '1033'. One Kazaa Plus v2 splash screen. If that's not proof then I don't know what is.

i am pretty sure this is how you change the start page... i have my start page as ZP, but i dont know if it is this method, or diet kaza. anyone running diet k on 2.o (not the 2.0 beta, the 1.3 DK +lemon) please tell me if you can change your start page. anyway, heres how i think i did it. go into internet explorer, or whatever u use. go to the site you want to make your start page. save the page ( file-> save). then rename the file to the name of the file in the kazaa folder. if i remember correctly, it is named 'kazaa'. then put that file in the kazaa folder, and restart your comp. this is what i did, (along with DK) and i have ZP as my homepage.
