Does that mean that you can help me with the rest of the songs?
I can't find any of them anywhere and they're great songs as I'm an avid 80s fan. So I hope that someone out there might have these songs or can direct me to where I can find them.

Ellie. :-)
PS. Please help I'm desperate to find these rarities.

i had a look for some of them and i got no results (which is very rare for emule)

u may be lucky and someone here may have some of them in their collections.

otherwise u will have to scour the p2p networks.

I hesitate here; however, here goes. Why don't you start at the beginning. By that I mean; where did you hear these songs? On the radio, tv, at a party, on a street corner somewhere, background music in a store? If so go to that source for info. I have called stores before wanting to know what music was playing in the background at a particular time and someone was able to help me after lots of phone handoffs. I have called tv stations inquiring about background music on promos; particularly PBS and have gotten results.
If you have not heard these songs before, from where did you get the artist and title info? Go back to that source and see if they/it can help you. I'm guessing all of the ones you posted may be regional bands or artists (save for one or two). If that is the case, you may have to (gulp) buy them if and when you are able to locate any copies. Because if you have heard them, somewhere there is a copy! You just have to do a little detective work. Good luck!

You can try amazon.com to find what album the song you want is on, if it is available. I just got a 1999 release for 1.99 new. the industry is all about hype and promotion. Hype the artist using radio airplay and bought media, keep rotatating your content before national markets, and once every few years you get an act that will pay the rent, pay for all of the bad acts that you promoted and did not make any money, and return enough of a profit to stay in business.

Even HP is not making much money for Scholasatic, it pays the bills, but is only like 2% of revenue.

The songs I'm after are from the movies, Dream To Believe, Can You Feel Me Dancing, Oxford Blues and Thief Of Hearts.

Unfortunately, no soundtrack was made for these movies as far as I know. So I'm hoping that if anyone has the recording equipment and can dub/record the songs for me directly from the movie itself it would mean a lot to me if this is possible to do and can be done. As I'm no music engineer.

Thank you kindly all.

Kindest Regards,

Ellie. :-)

Hi guys

Im looking for a track that was released in the early 90's, im not sure if it was completely national or where it was distributed but was released definately here in the UK and reached the 30's or 40's in the charts. wasnt a famous song by far but ive been trying to get hold of a copy for a long time now for sentimental reasons, either on CD or tape but cant find one anywhere and the internet doesnt hold any threads or posts featuring the artist name or song title. ive also looked thru p2p applications but to no luck. can anyone here help or suggest any avenues?

it was released by 'Stuart James' and the song was called 'Never In My Life'

Many Thanks to anyone who can help

ellie, i just picked a random single cut from your list (Heart's Voice - Stephanie Mills), and there is a YouTube track available. Using one of the YT recorders (and there are many), do the recording and then audio demux (seperate the audio and video) and you should have one track resolved.

Shareaza maybe the answer. http://www.zeropaid.com/shareaza/

I got hits on all the songs above. 95 to 98% of them were wma files the rest mp3 or others.

One problem the descriptive information on the wma file is lacking. Not knowing whether its the right song or not.

Good luck in finding the songs.

Who wants an wma? Seriously?

Seriously who does want wma ??? not me

Useless information.

The AC DC - Back in Black that I own on CD. Rip it on my laptop and the file was wma.

The only CD to do that.
