Alright, so I installed SP1 the day it came out, and all went fine, im normal now, except one thing....

Whenever I restart my comp, the Num Lock is never on on default, i always have to manually hit the button, when since Win95 the num lock has been on by default, i know im lazy and all but I just want it to come on when the system starts (WinXP Pro)

Does anyone know the procedure to turn it on by default??

Thanks

With some motherboards you have to enable numlock in the BIOS. Thats what i had to do but its always been like that for me.

Here's how to set the NumLock default to ON:

Run RegEdit

Goto HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\Keyboard

Change the value for InitialKeyboardIndicators from 0 to 2

That should take care of it.
