I have a 5Mb. connection through cox cable, I downloaded some drivers from dell @ 2500KBps. Is this possible? How? Where can i find more info on this subject?

kbps is kiloBITS per second
divide by 8 to see what it is in content size
Here these tables show all the main conversions, though not very well
