Just updated Kazaalite resurrection and it won't connect

Hellol. Today I downloaded a newer version of Kazaalite resurrection (update of july 5 2005) and it seems stuck in "connecting" mode. Anything going on I should know about?

I am being honest and not trying to be rude... Uninstall that crap and find somthing else if you must just use limewire pro. If you feeling up to it look into bittorrent direct connect, and newsgroups. Kazaa is dead im my eyes but thats my opinion.

Randomnut dropped kazaa at just the right time.

I'm not going to be a bitch.. and dis the latest KaZaA hacks (I've not used them so I can't comment and I'm not posting this aiming to cause offence...)

But the network itself is plagued with fakes, viri, pass-stealers, trojans and has too many anti-p2p companies scouring it trying to make a quick buck.

Personally... I'd suggest a different network... unless somehow KaZaA/fasttrack has improved ten-fold in the last couple of months. (which I doubt)

Anti-virus software doesn't work against fakes (which is what you've suggested as a solution)

The simple answer is ... use a network with DECENT HASHING!!!!

y'know... a MODERN p2p network that isn't riddled with these problems!!!

I've written apps that have scanned the fasttrack network in the past for the fake files and the source of these fakes (I posted some a year or so ago on zp!!!). I decided to drop my work on fasttrack around the same time as random nut gave up with Klite.. and at the same time chip/dkchip gave up with Diet K.

So what news have you got for me??? what new changes are there?? what's been done to save fasttrack in the last 6-12 months from the fake files???

as for statistics... yeah... lot's of users... getting not a lot of data...statistically speaking... BITTORRENT traffic takes a larger share of residential-bandwidth by a long, long, long, long way...

hmmmmmmmm..... wonder why that could be... strong hashing, reliability, etc. perhaps???

Kazaa lite working fine now. To avoid fake files I just use peerguardian. I won't use bittorent because then I am also uploading, makes me more of a target for RIAA/MPAA.
