A major research institution just announced the discovery of the
heaviest element yet known to science. The new element has been named
"Governmentium". Governmentium has one neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75
deputy neutrons, and 224 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic
mass of 311.
These 311 particles are held together by forces called morons, which
are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.
Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be
detected, as it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact.
A minute amount of Governmentium causes one reaction to take over 4
days to complete, when it would normally take less than a second.
Governmentium has a normal half-life of 4 years; it does not decay, but,
instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant
neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.
In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since
each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming
isodopes. This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists
to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a certain
quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as
"Critical Morass". When catalyzed with money Governmentium becomes
Administratium, an element which radiates just as much energy, since it has
1/2 as many peons but twice as many morons.

you had me going until morons. Did you come up with this on your own, or is it someone elses work?

Governmentium has a normal half-life of 4 years;

I think you are wrong. It has a normal half life of 40 years.

funny stuff.

Yeah morons pretty much tipped me off, but still funny.

You almost had me up until you said assistant neutron. Because there isnt such a thing.

Yea... "assistant neutron" is what did it for me too.

Nice find though.

Naw, I wish I came up with it myself! It was emailed to me from a friend! :)

But with all the *BS* going on, I just figured that it would be a nice litttle post! A little humor?!

I dont' know about the heaviest element, but govermentium is the most dense element.

Hey!

I resemble that remark!

damn im a nerd. i was highly suspicious after they named it and the "one nutron" gave it all away to me.

I dont' know about the heaviest element, but govermentium is the most dense element.

The most dangerous element is corporatiorium and or facistiomortium. corporatiorium can throw off excess quarks called capital and causes governmentorium to degrade from corporatiorium to facistiomortium. Once that occurs, Naziatorum occurs, thus leading to a chain reaction called WWx.

x being a number higher after every witnessed occurance.

WWx can be a voided by chemical and biological contamination by a proactive treatment called "regime change". Experts in govermentium are unsure if it is an effective treatment, it may lead to failurelatorium, the most dreaded element of them all.
