New version of WinMX+

What is the best way to download this new version? Should I do it on top of 2.6 or should I leave 2.6 installed and put 3.1 someplace else or should I uninstall 2.6 first? Some might think this is a stupid question, but I really would appreciate some help.

:hole Hi Melissa, just follow the instructions it will replace the old version,and so far I have had no problems. All I did was save it to the desktop, and doubleclick on it and it prettywell takes you through the install. Good luck.

I uninstalled my old 2.6 version and rebooted before I installed the new 3.1, worked perfect the first time.

I did the same thing as The Hunter, and installed on top of the old version, with no problems.
So far everything works great.

Thanks, you guys. I installed it right on top of 2.6 with no problems. But now I'm moving slower than ever with my downloads.

:shy Hi again Melissa, even if you are on high speed try putting your settings on make a secondary connection to the internet. As it seems that some firewalls make it run very slow, and good luck.
