I think this is something that the RIAA is overlooking when they do their statistics. I have both Sirius and XM and I have to tell you that I rarely listen to my iPod or CDs because of the AMAZING selection of music these services offer. You get to choose your favorite genre of music and then get all the best songs played in CD Quality. Does anyone else agree or have I completely lost my mind? haha

I too have XM Radio and love it. The selections of various genre and sports is just to good to not have it.

My Sirius has changed my life for sure. It is pretty much all I listen to...anything on the computer is stuff i've heard on the sat. and dled. I just hope it stays under everyones radar (FCC/RIAA) because I love it the way it is.

Octane is good, Faction IMHO is the best. I think that AltNation overplays too much, but all-in-all I think XM's Ethel and Squizz are really good.
XM is finally coming up in the game when it comes to hits. They used to be so far behind.

octane, faction, and alt nation are all my favs. I also have hard attack on there for when traffic gets shitty and you just get those horrible road rage urges.

I am signing up for XM now that it has been approved for Canadian Broadcast.
Unfortuneatly though it is no longer under the radar, they are nailing reciever manufactuers over letting consumers save and store any recording they like.
Don't you know?
It's an infringement of their copyright....
those fucktards apparently don't remember that people used to tape the raido to listen to the songs later (at least people I know do.

I have the new Sirius Starmate Replay (http://shop.sirius.com/edealinv/servlet/ExecMacro?nurl=control/StoreItem.vm&ctl_nbr=2640&siId=608426) reciever... records up to 44 minutes, and I bought a vent mount for $9+SH from Arkon.
Awesome.. my first 10 preset buttons are: Octane, Alt Nation, Faction, Left of Center, Hard Attack, Classic Vinyl, Buzzsaw, Hits 1, Howard Stern 100, Howard Stern 101
I mostly listen to octane and alt nation, faction sometimes, left of center/hard attack/classic vinyl when nothing else is on... howard stern when I feel like listening to talk radio. The Jump key is set to Traffic & Weather for NY Metro.
Also I have my S-Seek list almost full (29/30 bands): Metallica, Beastie Boys, Weezer, Slipknot, Foo Fighters, System of a Down, Pink Floyd, Garbage, Gorillaz, Nada Surf, No Doubt, Blink-182, Andrew W.K., Bloodhound Gang, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Tool, Pantera, The Offspring, The Breeders, Filter, Everclear, Rage Against the Machine, Sublime, CKY, Deftones, Pixies, Queens of the Stone Age, Bush
I like to keep one open in case I want to bump another band off the list. For those unfamiliar with S-Seek, it alerts me no matter what I'm listening to if anyone on that list comes on, and has a special music category when any of those bands are being played on any station... I can choose to keep listening to what I am now, or hit the sirius dog logo and it bumps me right over to one of my favorite bands.
And if I get a phone call? Pause... and if I keep it paused long enough before playing, I can totally skip a song or two if I dont like them.
