I think encryption is very important because I am one of the most paranoid people in the entire world about being caught (any suggestions on keeping safe?) but the encryption of Filetopia keeps me coming back to the little network again and again.. Of course when Im not using the Emule. What do you guys think of FT?

I like Filetopia, was using it for about a year and a half. The community aspect is nice. The downside is not so many users, so you are usually stuck getting something from one person and they are on a home broadband connection (384kbps upload at best usually), so big items you find take a long while to download if the person who has it stays on long enough.

It's definitely a smaller network and between that and the encryption I figure it's got a decent chance of not being targeted heavily by the RIAA or MPAA (but not entirely forgotten I'm sure). I only stopped using it because Bittorrent(ABC for me) came along and started giving me anything my heart desires (usually).

sure encription is nice, but that won't protect you from people getting your IP when uploading or downloading to you

Nothing really will stop the IP thing though. I have filetopia, but dont use it unless its something rare or something that I cant possibly have corrupted. If I get any more paranoid, Im dumping emule, cause I know its one of the safest networks.
