If I load a torrent seed into Shareaza it doesn't download. Just shows active or pending. If I load it into BitComet, it works fine. Why is that? Thanks.

well, contrary to whatever shareaza fanboys will tell you, the shareaza implimentation of bittorrent simply sucks. It drops peers with data for the torrent[ever wonder why your downloads are slow?], whereas bitcommet doesn't do this.

Sareaza is seriously gay. Even when configured, it underperforms badly on the Gnutella network.

Theoretically, it should be the best Gnutella client, but it's not. Mainly due to the fact that it's the only client out there which supports Gnutella2. It seriously under performs on the Gnutella1 network. Becuase of that, it effects it's ability to perform the Gnutella2 network.

Yes, Morpheus, Gnucleus, iMesh, mlDonkey, MyNapster, Adagio, Kiwi, and some others must not count.

The ONLY P2P'S one needs is Bearshare Lite/pro obviously for the Gnutella network. (best network as far as I'm concerned,. Above all speed, but just as much, the content it offers). Then there's Edonkey2000 Lite, (of course there's the eMule morph XT lovers out there, but the lack of the connection to the Overbet network sucks). eDonkey is clealry the best network when taking into account absolute content of everything. And finally Bittorrent, Azureus is the best client for that, Open-Source and the most functionality out of all Bittorrent clients. Oh, ther eis Newsgroups, yet alot of people don't class them as ''P2P'S'' mearly becuase not alot of people know about them, and aswell as having to pay for the service too. The smaller networks such as, MP2P, Directconnect, fastrak (fastrak is absolutely and seriously GAY) and filtopia, offer only what's on the 'larger' networks, so there's no need for them.
