See, this is something that I don't think publishers have to worry about too much - there's a big difference between having a book in your hand and reading it from a computer screen. But, then again, what do I know - I hate reading :P

I don't mind reading, it's just haveing the time too...
I actually like sitting down with a good book and let my imagination paint the pictures of the book for me...... but I have not done that in a few good months

My sister got the book yesterday so I'm going to read when she is done. Right now I am reading Dan Brown's Angels and Demons. It's getting very good, looking forward to the Da Vinci Code film.

I hate to read! I hate to learn new things and I love being an idiot. Hate to read? Thats fucked up.
As for the hijacking of books, it has good and bad points. To me there is no replacement for owning an actual copy but only of books I really care about. If I can get most books online I will not pay for them anymore. I would hate to see book sells take a hit. Its already hard enough for writers to get their work published and make a living as it is. Of course none of you care about this.
the great one

i agree, but i do all of my reading from the library so it doesnt make a difference to the authors at all from my business to them. the only books i have bought are the ones that i have read from the library and felt i should own them. lately though, i have been using the ebook reader on my palm pilot. that thing is awsome, as i can carry the whole lord of the rings series, the whole harry potter series plus 20 other books without denting the internal memory or breaking my arms trying to carry them all at once.

And about 40 bucks worth of ink, thereby making it entirely pointless.
