Does anyone have any tips on using crap cleaner? IE, like what to avoid.

It has some minor conflicts with FireFox, it cleans out the cache and saved passwords, if you do that while FF is running this can cause the browser to freeze up.
Nothing else touchy reported, it hasa tendency to remove a gig or more of useless crap that the other more specialized cleaners always miss.

Just ran it for the first time and it found 380Mb that Window Washer 5 missed. I have not noticed and problems after using it.

The reason I asked, was because I have seen too many things buggered up by just diving in and running a new program. I just ran it, and my pages load way faster, and overall the whole pc seems much faster. I had a wee bit of bother with my home page, but that was a minor inconvenience.

Yea I like this program alot, it finds alot of stuff other programs do not, and with the context menu on the recycleing bin and the speed of the program I find it very effecient and reliable

I have been using CCleaner for some time along with jv16 PowerTools registry cleaner and find my machine runs better than a swiss watch. I update and run Spybot sometimes for the hell of it but it never finds anything...
