Hello everyone.

I need to know a couple things and I figured someone here could/would help.

1. I need to know how to find out if a Keylogger is on my system.
2. If there is, how to find and remove it.

Simple huh? LOL

Thanks for the help in advance.

I think spybot search and destroy detects key loggers unless im mistaken. As well many virus scanners can detect them. You could also try hijack this and try and figure out for yourself if theres any software running that hsouldnt.

Check the keyboard connection behind your computer and if you find something, record the beating of your husband and post it here.

TDS-3 worked for my friend, you can download a free trial of it off the companies website. Just google Trojan Defence Suite

lord of the dense thats just if its a hardware keylogger and those are just stupid. I think they are asking about software keyloggers. But I guess may as well cover every possible scenario.

It's so good, it catches keyloggers that aren't even there! Seriously, does anyone else remember when it detected PeerGuardian's uninstaller as a keylogger?

It sucks when you suspect someone of spying on you, hope you figure it out.

LMFAO....that was funny as hell. I meant to say: I think I'm good then because I run S&D spysweeper and Norton and none of them show anything. When I ran hijack this it came up clean also. Thanks everyone.

Hijack... you mean "hijack this"? That isnt exactly a scanner for keyloggers so that wont help.

TDS-3 and TrojanHunter both have free trials, and I'd scan with both of those. If I wanted to be uber-paranoid I'd scan with KAV and Nod32 also. If it passes those 4 things (herustics on, deep, max settings, whatever) then the odds of you having a keylogger are really, really, really slim.

malakai hijack this does however show all startup programs which could point to a possible keylogger if you know what your looking for.

Yeah, and what if the trojan is bound to a legit process?
