Well, here's my setup. Nothing really fancy or new but it works:

Backup machine
1.2 ghZ 256 ram
separate Cd reader and writer
motherboard graphics and sound
60 gig hd

Linux machine
1.4 ghZ
512 Ram
separate dvd reader and writer
motherboard graphics and sound
80 gig hd

Both of the above units tied together with a single monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

workstations
2600 AMD
768 ram
separate lite-on dvd reader and writer
Audigy sound card
280 watt 5.1 sound
702 gigs of storage space on 5 drives
water cooled
Geforce fx 5600 graphic card

AMD 3400 64 bit
1 gig of ram
single liteon reader/writer
Audigy sound card
separate 5.1 home unit for sound
549 gigs of storage in 4 drives
Geforce 5800 (I think) graphics card

All of it is old but still works great. All tied in on a network. I too would love to know the hours on these units as they have seen a lot of use.

holy shit, I haven't seen C64 commands in a while. I don't think I would even remember how to start up the game disks I had.

http://forums.guru3d.com/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=94117 has my specs listed, too lazy to C/P.

I know what you mean about falling behind, I've got pretty much a "legacy" cpu by todays gaming requirements.

I've got over 13000 songs right now that are sorted. 2 160's, a 200, and a 250 gig SATA.

Pentium II 400 MHz CPU
336 MB PC100 SDRAM
120 GB Samsung Spinpoint HDD, 10 GB Maxtor HDD
One lousy motherboard (no overclocking, 384 MB RAM limit)
ATI 3D Rage Pro AGP 2x video card (8 MB)

Runs XP and most everyday applications more than capably.

And what do you guys do with all that power under the hood? Hmmmm?

My PC i'm cuurently using.

AMD Athlon 1.333Ghz
Seagate 80G HD with 8meg cache
640megs of SDRAM
Nvidia Geforce 4000 128meg
Soundbalster audio card (forgot model)
asorted usb hard drives

This computer has been a real work horse and would not even be replaced if I wasn't having problems out of it now. Its way fast except when video editing. My new PC will fix all that!

Heres my spec..! Running XP Home (god dammit) with SP2!

Intel Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40Ghz
Toshiba 30GB - Internal Hard Disk
Maxtor 40GB - External Hard Disk
256MB DDR-RAM PC3000 (400 Mhz)
MATSHITA UJDA740 (52X/24X) DVD/CDRW
NVIDIA GeForce4 420 Go (Toshiba)
10/100 Ethernet, Bluetooth, Infrared
SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio

It's fairly decent, basically NAV2003 in the backround and Microsoft Antipsyware.
I think I should pick up some more RAM though, my apps are starting to take over.
