Hello all,
I've followed the guide and this is where I'm at:
latest version of azureus
updated java
windows xp sp2 with firewall turned off
on a cable modem, linksys befcmu10, no router installed
running norton systemworks 2004, configured internet worm protection to permit all under program control for azureus and java, under general rules allowed ports 16881-16889 tcp/udp for local and remote and did the same for port 6969
applied port 16881 in azureus to listen
i'm not sharing my internet connection
when i start a torrent and double click on it, under the peer tab in the T column are all L's, which i beleive stands for local, i've never seen R, remote from what I understand
my download speeds range from 1 - 15 if i'm lucky.
I vary my upload speeds to see if I get better download but no dice
I have no clue what a green smiley looks like in azureus
Any help is much appreciated, Thanks.
