Nero is great for burning, but I use EAC as well for ripping.

Is EAC easy to use?

Nero for burning software, dvd, or iso files.. Roxio or record now is pretty good for mp3.. If you use flac or anything, make sure you have the right plug ins.. EAC is simple in its own rights.

EAC is relatively simple to use, but the biggest attraction people have to it is the fact that it is capable of making 100% accurate cd rips.

To rip CD's the best programme hands down is EAC to burn CD's a simple programme called Burrrrn will do the job better than any commercial product all you do is drag the playlist file to the main window hit the Burrrn button after any neccessary configuration, and it is done!. Here is the link for Burrrn http://www.burrrn.net/download/burrrn_package.exe , and I Strongly suggest here that if you want to create the highest standard mp3's you go here http://www.ubernet.org/ they use EAC as well as a whole bunch of other freeware to create mp3's to the highest standard possible. :icon_pira
