abc bitTorrent brings down internet connection after a while?

Hi,
I just have abc bitTorrent program downloaded in my com for 3 days and i'm having the problem of internet connection interruption when using abc. Can anyone tell me why abc will bring down my internet connection after about 10 minutes? It only happens when the download speed goes really high, like 100kb/s per torrent file, but it won't happen in a really slow speed like 10kb/s. I have to restart my computer to get back the connection, it won't work when i tried just to restart my cable modem, and i've also tried only to connect straigt to my modem without going through my netgear MR814 router, and it just won't help either, also, i've tried to reduce the max connection but the problem still exist, can somebody pls help me and tell me why this is happening as it is really annoying. thanks a lot. :icon_salu

I had the same problem. I removed Zone Alarm Pro firewall and Norton's anti virus and replaced it with Computer Associate's My-eTrust and have had no problems since. My download speeds reach 3 meg.

I get great speeds.. For while til recently.. IT wouldnt let me log on to any free email account or upload torrents, files to websites.. had to restart pc, or repair internet gateway connection icon.. Really weird.Stoped doing it, not sure why.

I use have that problem, try to limit the maximum number of connection. It fixed it for me :)
