Well, the hack I was thinking of turns out to be a private hack... I'll have to talk with the creator and see if he'll send a copy my way. Until then, I sent a link to Jorge for a vB Portal hack, which is a nice little thing that takes the threads from a forum and makes a webpage out of them. The titles and first post appear on a page, and then you can discuss them in the actual Board. Much like the news and comments of the main page now, except incorporated into vB.

yeah it's no rumour. i got one saturday night. it looks just like the old one but freshened up a bit. it works well and reconnects to bearshare etc. it even restarted some old incompletes!
