How do I get trough firewalls?

I have tried socks2http but it doesn't seem to work (maybe because we don't have a http proxy?). I do not have the rights to change the firewall settings.

Is there any way I could get trough, perhaps by running some sort of http protocol?

The problems are the same for Kazaa Lite. With WinMX 2.6 witch is now down I had no such problems.

You can also try HTTP-tunnel. It's a free program and it also provides a 1.5KByte bandwidth proxy server.

Also, for any P2P programs that do not support SOCKS, use SocksCap32

By using HTTP-tunnel, socks2http, and/or Sockscap32, you should be able to bypass any firewall block.

Another proxy tunnel program is KazaaHttp.

I am not trying to recommend it, as I have not used it or even read any comments of anyone who has used it.
