Thank You. I wanted to start a thread about nintendo but I decided not to. Since you created this thread, i'll just post this new news:

Nintendo Revolution confirmed not to support HDTVs.

Is it me or is America the only country who are interested in HDTV? Its understandable with NTSC being a poor broadcasting format.

HD games will reduce framerates, increase development time and cost. This will probably mean that the rumour that game prices will increase for the next generation is true.

How many people will be able to afford a HDTV, a next generation console and games?

The games are gonna be 10bucks higher than the current generation. ebgames already accepts preorders on the xbox360 games and are selling them for 59.99. The xbox and the ps2 already support HD, the reason the prices are gonna be higher is so microsoft and sony can offset the money they lose on building the systems.

Ask yourself this: Do you use punctuation marks in your posts? If the answer is no, then YES I WAS TALKING TO YOU. If the answer is yes, then NO I WAS NOT TALKING TO YOU.

So I think the answer should be YES, therefore, I WAS NOT TALKING TO YOU.

Here's a sneak peek at an upcoming PS3 game....will fully use PS3's processing power. Has the most amazing graphics, too amazing that you'll need to get better eyes...did someone say HD2? That's right, Sony's now skipping normal HD support and making their own format called "HD2" (which will require a Sony HD2 ready television) "HD2"'s ultra high resolution will allow players to embrace all the hairs found on their character's face and the rest of their body. And due to the PS3's mass amount of left over processing power, all the hairs can move independantly thanks to "hair AI". Sony and "Hair AI" will revolutionize the way we play games...

I know Wipeout will just love this game...amazing GFX and AI...and it's produced by another corporation :D

Here's some screenshots, only 3 b/c they're still trying to code with the cell processor...

There is something very very weird:

Nintendo have 221 titles.

Sony have 1300 titles.
___________________________

Nintendo began in the Japanese market in 1983, the U.S. market in 1985, and the European market in 1986.

Sony's first console, the playstation, was launched in Japan on December 3, 1994, the USA on September 9, 1995 and Europe on September 29, 1995.
__________________________________________________ ______________

So this means that even though nintendo started out in the gaming industry earlier, Sony have more titles. Very weird indeed.

WTH are you talking about...that is the most ignorant thing you've said so far...
You really like to stir the shit don't you Wipeout...no proof again IC...

Sony is NOT a video game company, just a super-mega corporation similar to Microsoft or Ted Turner...

Sony has no where near the ridiculous 1300 you've stated...maybe they distrubuted titles but they do not develop them...they just pump $$$ into developer stock like Square | Enix or buy them out whole... 989 studios.
Nintendo is still the largest video game company...if you didn't notice...and they started what is know as the "Playstation"...without Nintendo, Sony would have never branched into the buisness; now Playstation is a top division of Sony Corp.
And you should know that, being a Playstation fanboy...

Couldn't you just make one post?

Some nice encyclopedia info I say...

here's the 1,300 titles quote... "As context, there are over 550 PlayStation 2 games and over 1,300 PlayStation games available today." Titles that were FOR the PS systems...they are not Sony games...
So the 1300 titles is from both PS1 and PS2...majority from PS1 (that could mean somthing)

You should have been more specific, saying that the Gamecube has 221 titles...even though it's not proven really (gamespot link doesn't work)

So from this we know that the PS2 has more games than the Gamecube...big whoop

And Nintendo still has more games in total....with all their consoles

Bah, I'm wasting my time on this shit....

The Wipeout link that shows Nintendo's 221 games are a selection of proposed titles for download on the revolution that NINTENDO MADE THEMSELVES and does not include any third party games.

Id be suprised if you found a link where Sony made a single decent game themselves because all the games for the playstation are third party!

If nintendo dies, there will be a big lack for the game industry!Trust me.
I don't know if nintendo will survive the next 5 years.
I started with nintendo and will go with them till the end of this company.
Mario party is great.Nobody can beat mario kart or any other super mario game...games like crash bandiko are only fucking copies of mario.
Remember golden eye?Its for me one of the best shoot and ups ever.or perfekt darfk?
bad for nintendo that they never bought companys like RARE,ENIX or Squaresoft.
Between I never saw a game made by sony..only third party games. Sony can buy all companies...but nintendo has the power of making a new genre.
Oh and im sure the enw Zelda for gamecube will make you feel like: OH,GREAT!bad that I have only PSx2! :icon_puke

Nintendo thru 'n' thru me :D I just can't bring myself to buy a console from a company that's just cashing in on a business area as soon as it becomes very popular! Nintendo has invented genres and some of the most recognisable games characters around.

Oh, and who would buy a console if you can't play Zelda on it?!?!?!?!

Don't get me wrong, there are some good games (and some great) on both *other* systems, but they are far out weighed by sh*t games!

Sony doesn't make good games because they're not a video game company.

And I could also say the same for microsoft.

Excrement_Cranium

Other than the fact that Bungee is an in house development house, and Halo is a first party title. Microsoft actually makes lots of games, a fair portion of them are good.

PS2's God of War.... developed by the ever elusive SCEA... hmmmmm. A game that receives perfect ratings by some reviewers... and it's made by: SONY COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT OF AMERICA.

What makes a game a kids game? Chasing dots? Im also wondering what makes an adult game? Having sex, killing people, or what. Games have never been very high on my priority list, although Im not knocking those that play them. It just seems that all too often, people get too self involved in the games, to the point of missing out on actual life. Note this is just a personal rant.

By kids games, I mean content that that are suitable for them.

Take the esrb rating for an example:

http://www.esrb.org/esrbratings_guide.asp

P.S. :

When I go to a store and buy a game, I don't look at the rating.

First, I go and see a review rating from a site like for example , gamespot.com, and if it gets pretty high, I look at the genre. I like rpgs the most because of the non - linear storyline. And then I buy the game.

Another name for video games is virtual reality.

And yet you would skip on a game like, say... Mario Sunshine because it is "for kids." Whereas, to complete the game totally, one would have to be at a skill level that most "kids" can't play at. Mario Sunshine also got good reviews.

"Only a subsidary".... that's CEO talk for... "Well, it's not ours, we just own and operate it." Yeah... not the same company.

By the way, read your references you fuckwit.
