my downloads do not download

For some reason, my downloads just stopped downloading. I see full sources but it will never download. My Max Connections is already at 500 and still will not download.

It seems like eDonkey is having less and less users.

I would understand why it would be download but I'm downloading a file that is very popular.

Set the file you like to download on pause, then disconnect, reconnect after a few seconds and resume, and that should help :)

I've done that numerous times.

I just tried that 5 minutes ago and now it won't reconnect.:devil

Actually, I think there are more users these days because of complicated app. like WinMX & leeches on other networks!

Did you tried connect to different servers with most files?

BTW, I don't think it is a good idea to set 500 max. connections under option, it will create too much traffic on servers & on your computer. You should read the warning!

The warning is only for computers with 56K and lower. It doesn't affect cable or dsl users.

But anyway...first my downloads won't start, now they won't stop!!

I'm downloading something thats 699MB...under the "Transfered" part, I have d/l'd 846MB and it just keeps going. I've paused it, then resumed it. Didn't work.

I closed eDonkey and started it again..didn't work.
