What is the object of the game?

I'm sure the game itself tells you the goals you need to accomplish.

Basically, you steal stuff or you earn money and buy stuff and then you do stuff and you slowly advance through the game.

If you need a more detailed explanation, feel free to ask.

EDIT: the reason you don't know what to do is because this game is non-linear. Don't worry, just going around the city and do whatever you want but just avoid cops.

There's a bike school in the city that you can learn. If you want to know where it is, here it is:

http://www.gta-sanandreas.com/guides/bikeschool/index.php

There are other guides so in the future, you can go back to that site.

P.S. Try to solve missions without looking at guides. One reason I play games is to be able to solve problems by myself.

you could also learn to read the prompts that show up the moment you start your first game..

slightly off topic, i recently "bought" this game myself (for pc), the size of this new map is ... just wow. it almost feels TOO big. awesome game so far, i'm sticking to doing missions right now, i haven't the energy to explore outside the red county area. i did take the jetpack out for a spin, though.

Ya I think it may be too big as well...big hole in my life time...argh

And truehaggle..you may have to change your control settings according to with your keyboard or gamepad (assuming you have the PC version) I recommend using a gamepad to play, although somtimes the mouse is better for accuracy of course...

WTH you're banned already? just noticed it...bah

I think the size of GTA SA gives good value for money.

Too many games these days can be completed in about 5 hours, its good to play a game where development time has been spent on the game contents rather than the graphics.

The only thing i dont like about this new one is that there is NO STUNT BONUS! i really miss that feature!

" The one area where San Andreas for the Xbox pales in comparison to the PS2 version is in the area of control. There are a few minor problems, mostly due to the fact that the Xbox features those annoying little black and white buttons, which make completing complicated button combos a bit tough at times. This is never more evident than when you want to perform a drive-by. You'll first need to press down one of the colored buttons, then push the A or B button to fire your weapon (the left trigger, which usually fires your weapon, is the brake when you're driving). As you can imagine, this requires you to twist your hand in a way that certainly can't be good for it. This minor issue aside, the game's controls are generally not a problem at all. "

Nice quote job there Wipeout ;)

That's why the PC version is the best one out of them all, can use a gamepad/mouse/keyboard combo with higher screen res and improved graphics :D

I'm using the Logitech Wingman cordless (they made a PS2 version) great controller, only major downside IMO is that it uses 4 AA batteries ARGH!!! although fresh ones last about 40 hours, 80 w/o rumble...

I forgot so many of you won't have played it yet having not had a PS2 or whatever... and yes... the new size of the map .. is like... "WTF?!?! This is BIG!!" - At least, until you start flying fighter jets and passenger planes.
