Rockstar game, GTA: SA, is going to be in stores shortly after the writing of this post for $49.99 and rated M for mature. It adds more characters, missions, swimming, skydiving, gambling, weightlifting, eating, and stealing farm machinery. Most is driving/shooting however. Graphics are improved and you're able to customize your radio station.

When you pay for the game, you're actually supporting Rockstar Games. But if you want to download it, I won't stop you. Do it as much as you want.
I never downloaded a single game in my life. Pure honesty.

It's just sitting and waiting on my desktop until I go to bed. 3.94GB on my line (512-1Mb) should take about a day!

If it's a game I like, I'll buy it. I'd far rather own the game and be able to update it easily - however, if it's game I'll only play a few times, or would just sort of like, I'll download it. I'll be buying San Andres.
However, this doesn't apply to music or movies - I'd far rather get those for free :-P

I must admit, I do find myself buying games and rarely downloading them. And ditto, it doesn't apply to movies or music for me!

I'll tell you why I buy my games. There's 2 major reasons.
1) Most of the time, when I download a patch, I won't be able to go to online play.
2) Most cd-keys are for one person. If two people uses the same cd-key, you won't be able to go to online play.
There is one minor reason:
1) MMORPG ( with the exception of Guild Wars ), you need to pay a monthly fee so you still need to pay if you download them.
Note: Private servers are not good servers. This is because they are buggy and only work with certain versions. They are buggy because Blizzard is not maintaining them.
Remember half life 2? You need to go online with your cd key to play the single player game!

The Dagger xbox version works great, no patch needed unless you have a PAL xbox.

Another reason, downloaded max payne 2 and I wanted to use the cheats through the exe file but it was a crack so I couldn't!

I usually test the game out with the download...I downloaded Vice City, then after a weeks play I purchased it.
So I'll see if I like San Andreas...Ooo 190Mb to go!

I just completed my download for the PC and have owned it for PS2, I will never buy it again ever.
For the most part I don't bother to buy any PC games I download unless it's online multi like Unreal Tourney or the game is so kick ass I need the patch support..
Yes I am an internet pirate
