aMule is a peer-to-peer file sharing application that works with the eDonkey computer network, but offers more features than the standard eDonkey client. It is a fork of the xMule sourcecode, which itself is a fork of the lMule project, which was the first attempt to bring the eMule client to Linux. It is now the Linux client on the eMule links section on their webpage. Like eMule, aMule is Free software released under the GNU General Public License.
