A lot of you here at Zeropaid.com have started to use BitTorrent to find movies, music, or even your favorite T.V. show, so we decided to put together a list of sites that index torrents and allow you to download files using the BitTorrent technology. If you don't know what BitTorrent is, please go here and read up.

I see 9 that I know for a fact have been history for six months or better. I see three more that have gone down in the last three months.

Haha, they list my old site fry.is-a-geek.com! I ran that site for some months in 2003 or so, serving Futurama episodes to my friends on IRC (and the larger community; one week I was even the only tracker for that week's episode). Good times. And then, my ISP forwarded an MPAA note they had received about it, and that's how that went.

Sorry to say this, but that's a really outdated list... Lots of these links are down, and major new sites such as torrenttyphoon.com are missing.

thanks jorge. i only get torrent sites by word of mouth, and even if many are outdated, its nice to have a few suggestions to go with.

It is nice to have a list, but in these days making a public list for the torrents is almost like leading a lamb to the slaughter (chances are the RIAA/MPAA/FBI can find out about them for themselves, but you don't have to make it easier for them), trusted word of mouth is often better these days then public listings.

I whole heatedly agree with you, however . . . these people that visit here dont want to listen to the word of experience, they want fast right now answers. SO, if thats the case, let them go, no one is forcing them to go. It's the risk, the price you pay with P2P.
