i used to get really good speeds on lime wire, but for some reason it has started slowing down.

just a couple of questions:

is it best to conected to ultrapeers on limewier or doesnt it matter. my status is ultrapeer.
if it is how can i make sure i am?

If i change the port can this effect the speed and is there better ports than others or doesnt it matter?

any other tips for lime wire would be great.

so thanks in advance people

It's been a while since I've used gnutella, but I think that being an Ultrapeer shouldn't have any significant effect on your search results/download performance. Additionally, you should probably only be an Ultrapeer if you leave it connected all the time and have a pretty beefy connection.

And there is no difference between any of the ports (except for their numbers, of course).
