The Force may - or may not - be with Burger King's latest Star Wars-themed Kids Meals.
One day after a record-shattering weekend for Star Wars, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, an advocacy group is asking Burger King to stop the tie-in of its Kids Meals with the film because it is rated PG-13.
The same group, Dove Foundation, got McDonald's 13 years ago to apologize for "confusion" from its promotion of PG-13 Batman Returns with Happy Meals. Now, it's going after BK's latest Kids Meal promotion - targeted at kids ages 4 to 9. The meals feature characters from Sith or other Star Wars films.

Get a life you psycopathic childrens groups. Theres alot bigger problems to fight then some kids seeing a guy get blasted by a lazer or cut by a light saber. How about working at stoping child porn, molestors, crime and such.

Let's see. My 5 year old daughter's rat just died, after a week of having it (it was sick with something). My 7 year old probably hears language that would make ME blush on the first grade playground. I'm taking them both to watch star wars when the hype dies a little (I'm watching the workprint as I type). And you want me to worry about burger toys that get lost in the car. No thanks.

I think children should be placed in a giant bubble impenetrable by sound and light therefore they cannot possibly be affected for bad or for worse by the outside world in anyway. That way they'll grow up to be nice adult human beings having not been corrupted in any way.

Who do these people think they are. I'm tired of all these foundations, and the government trying to tell parents how to raise there kid.

That is the way some people act. If only experiments had proved this true, I wouldn't need ZP to start a bail fund for me. Two daughters, 2 years apart. In 6 years, I'm gonna need bail for murdering some horny little teenage boy. :devil2

They should have had a cross promotion with "The Devil's Rejects" and then the kid's groups would have seen how warm and fuzzy Star Wars is in comparison.
