I actually did use WinMX because Penn State was blocking practically everything else, the program would work at times, and then sometimes take forever. I decided to just switch to Ares and eMule when I found a HTTP Tunelling program:icon_thum

except it wasn't an update, just dumping off his leftover code before quitting entirely

funny enough winMX was 1 of the first p2p/sharing prog's i used
way bak 3 or so years ago
i would say now it's a mediocre program wid shi. speed's n Ques
Good things about it
no spyware etc, tiny file size, highbitrate mp'3's, some old skool disco u can find..
But now u got BT and Ares(my 2 fav's)
nowt apart from the Donkey even comes close
if theirs a stable new WinMX i might try it out
peace peeps

i guess the change log should read:
* just dumping off leftover code before quitting entirely

instead of:
* Fixed several bugs in file scan code that were causing crashes.
* Library view remembers expanded folders between sessions
* Shared file/byte count on folder lines
* Search for Alt/Similar menu option on Library files
* Fixed bug that prevented column sort order persistence
* F2 key rename selected Library file

But you may be right, as http://www.frontcode.com/ gives a 404 error :p
