Why arn't IRC clients promoted on this site? IRC's can be very useful.

I intend to write a good guide for IRC filesharing shortly. I haven't seen any good ones online that fully explain everything that should be explained.

Slyck's guide is mildly-outdated. Much has changed, and hasn't been documented.

Ya slycks is a good start, I learned a lot just from trial-and-error afterwards.
