Best browser on the market. I was a firm Opera user for about a year, but now I'm firm for Firefox.

This time they released a fix about 2-3 days after I heard about the problem. Last time it took about 5-7 days. I'm glad to see they are picking it up a bit.
I installed Opera 8. I've also installed AM Browser. If it's a browser with Tabs and Mouse Gestures then I'll like it, but Firefox has so many other extensions that it's my choice of browsing most times.

If it's coming up save or open, choose open and make Firefox open it. You'll have to find the firefox.exe probably in your C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox folder. When Firefox opens it it'll know that it's an extension and then let you install it.
For the extensions being disabled, I'm not sure. Some won't work above a certain Firefox release, so until they update the extension then you'll have to wait.

Do they have a patch for this, or do I have to install the entire package to get the fixes.

I doubt there's a patch, just go ahead and upgrade. If you have problems after the upgrade, make a thread and we'll figure it out :-)
