A long time friend of mine has created a awesome service that I want to tell you about, the website is called Mobil17.com and it has a lot to offer.
Using your mp3's located on your computer, you can update a song to the Mobile17 website, where they process the file then send it to your mobile phone. Mobile17 has the bases covered on phones, so i would imagine a large % of the Zeropaid visitors will have no problem using the service. Best of all Mobile17 is free, and there is also a premium service for a low price.
The only drawback of the service is that ring tones aren’t an easy to create on the fly, so you will have to work on getting a good sequence. I suggest creating the ring tone loop on your computer using a audio editor program, a good free program can be found here: show me, this is Zeropaid.

Lacks an option to download the finished ringtone or wallpaper to your computer instead of giving a cell phone number.
why wouldn't he allow it if it doesn't cost any money anyways?

smells fishy.

i don't think ben will sell out like that. if anything, he's trying to get $$$ from the premium service. i don't see him selling the list.

if hes lookin to make money then i am sure he will sell list if he can get decent price why bother witha dodgy site when you can do it yourself and dont have to disclose info to an unknown person

"Is that an AM radio? Why no, it's my cellphone." mobile17... formerly smashTheTONES... now lets you put almost any podcast on your phone as a series of ringtones, for free of course. The coolest feature is, you can store your five favorite podcasts to your account and grab new audio posts straight from your phone's browser. Of course, it still lets you create free ringtones and graphics from your music and photos.
In addition, you can earn cash by allowing fans to send your band's or website's music, artwork, photos, and animations, to their mobile phones. It's free and easy to setup, and is perfect for your photos, art, music, or podcast.
mobile17 offers a unique new method to podcasting -- downloading posts as a series of ringtones, which you can either play out-loud or listen to through a headset right on your cellphone. What's really cool is that it actually lets you grab posts from up to five of your favorite feeds on-the-go, right using your phone's web browser.

So this is what smashthetones WAS huh? But now it's improved?
smashthetones was kickass when he didn't make you upload a .midi file, and you could do any .mp3 easily... it's still easy, don't get me wrong. :)
He keeps changing it around, every time I go there, it's different, and the entire process includes more and more steps.
btw, I'm in love with his car.
