anyone have a preference for these two programs. I'm wondering which one is better. Edonkey seems to lag me a lot with all of its connections. And sometimes I can find files and sometimes I can't. Don't know if emule is more stable and less laggy or not. Any thoughts on this?

I had edonkey2000 for a while. It's alright and the extra connection to the overnet network is a plus I think. As far as emule goes, I tried it a few times before going to edonkey and I hated it. A little while back I came accross emuleplus http://emuleplus.info and decided to give it a try. Perhaps it's because I was more open minded this time, I don't know but I like it a lot. Much more than edonkey or emule and I've never had any problems with it so that would be my suggestion.

eMule seems to work well for me.

both, really. eMule has the instant Kad and eD2k has Overnet.
