If you had all four game consoles and every game ever made for them what would be your favorite one that you played the most?

The last game poll sucked so bad

I thought it would be interesting to see some real poll results.

Ps2. Played Final Fantasy 10 the most. It was the only reason I bought my ps2.

You need more poll options!

I love the SNES.

I played many ps games on my ps2, but the ps2 has kinda grayish graphics... always looks a little washed-out.

I play games mainly on my Cube nowadays... the games always look better than the other two consoles... and it does have a superior controller to the other two consoles.

ya I'd go with the NES and SNES...those sytems can never be matched again; they were all about the games nothing else.

oh, as for emulators... who needs 'em when you've got the real deal? I have three of the Nintendo systems hooked up in my room. The fourth is in the living room.

I never had a SNES :( I had a Mega Drive - Streets of Rage is awesome! I now have a PS2 which I played like once, I never want to spend £30/£40 on a game I might not even like. But yeah PS2 is the best just for GTA3 when it came out :D

Haha, whats Dreamcast in the options for? Werent they about the same time as PS?

Haha, whats Dreamcast in the options for? Werent they about the same time as PS?Someone in the last poll was asking for it, so I put it in. I think it came out closer to the time of the PS2.

Dreamcast came out on 09/09/99 and was the first 128-bit system launched...so you could say that the PS2 followed the Dreamcast ;)
But the format is now dead after Sega surrendered to the corps...as well the Dreamcasts Sega.Net online service went down making a lot of it's online games useless.
That's how all the PS2 and Xbox online games will be like in 5 yrs..DEAD

Yup, ps2 graphics are not as good when you compare to something with better graphics. But just be happy it doesn't have the worst graphics ever. I also want to say ps2 can really compete with SOME xbox games. When I play Metal Gear Solid 3 or The God Of War, I totally thought I was playing a xbox. Yes, the graphics are really that great! But, graphics does not determine which console i'm going to buy. It's the game with the gameplay that I want that makes me buy the console i'm going to buy. To all, my gameplay type is roleplaying.
I'm just saying that whether ps2 is good or not, it depends on what you're comparing. Xbox have better hardware but it just totally depends if the game developer use the full potential of that hardware. The two games I just mentioned use the full potential of the ps2 so that why it can surpass some xbox games that were made by some game developer that did not use the full potential of the xbox hardware. I do care about a system that provides the gameplay that I want. Since ps2 have more rpg than xbox, i'm just saying that's why ps2 is my favourite console over xbox. I did not say which game is my favourite rpg and do not want to turn this thread into one. You seriously didn't need to go that far and really make a favourite rpg thread. I sense that today, some zeropaid members are not feeling happy and that makes me feel sad too. I'm still trying to read over what I am posting. Feel like these days, I am making members angry and I really don't want to. : ( I Hope this helps you wingnut. Perhaps I should really get out of here if i'm really doing this to everyone.

Thank you for agreeing with me on this point. I was unsure if my eyes decieved me or my ps2 was set-up incorrectly. I had assumed that it could not compete with consoles that have better GPUs, RAM, anti-aliasing, etc., but your authority on the issue has alleviated my fears regarding the inadequacy of the ps2 to compete.

But just be happy it doesn't have the worst graphics ever.
But you just said that it was not as good when compared to something with better graphics. I think what we need is a point of reference...

Ahh... you are comparing the ps2 to an X-Box. How could you think that you were playing an X-Box game on the ps2? Did you think they were cross-compatible and that the software would allow the ps2 to overcome its hardware-based inadequacies?

But, graphics does not determine which console i'm going to buy. It's the game with the gameplay that I want that makes me buy the console i'm going to buy. To all, my gameplay type is roleplaying.
So you don't really care about the system at all. Perhaps we should start a thread about favorite RPG... that would better suit the statements made in this posting.

Dreamcast. Just because it has so much homebrew support, and there are so many great emulators that run on it. For an actual console and it's own games, I'd have to say 8bit NES/Famicom, I play it more than anything else on my DC. Nester is such a well made emulator(despite its rom limit). I love my actual NES, but there's just no way that I am going to fiddle with the damn cartridges like we all had to do back in the day.

That said, my Xbox needs a ps2 emulator.

I have every console in the poll. I also have an N64. I have emus for genisis, sega master system, NES, and SNES. PS2 does PS1 games, so that's covered. To me it's never about the console, it's about the games. The only bias I have is a little leaning to XBOX for the hardrive, no need for memory cards, and custom soundtracks.
