PLEASE READ: before you refer me to a user guide or another web site.My reason for this is,because
I have already seen and read them.Which I thought were very insightful. But right now I just want to
get help on what things I need with the tools that I already have or don't have.EXAMPLE: I don't want
to get a different operating system,burner,software etc.

Hello everyone, first of all, I am very new to burning,copying,ripping,etc. So take it easy on me.I have
finally figured out how to download files.( GOT OFF KAZAA!! ) Then I could play them on my pc,
( media player, nero player, ) But now I want to watch them on my other dvd players in my house.
This is where the problem begins. I had an older version of nero 5, but then when I tried to burn there
was nothing,so I finally figured out that I had a defective burner, so I bought and installed a cheap but new one.I cant even drag files over to try and start.I tried different ways to enter files into nero.nothing but files not compatable or something like that.I even tried to have my shared folder open with nero burning but it will not allow it.
So I am thinking I must need more software like dvdencryptor,dvd shrink,nerovision, g-spot or am
just slower than I type? hey now,dont answer that one.

All help will surely be appreciated. And all other condescending remarks such as,NEWBIE , well we all know what you can do with em.Because I already admitted how new I am.VERY!!!

First, do you have all the codecs needed? If you do, you are half way there already. If not, do a search on ZP, there are threads on different codecs here. Besides DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink, G-Spot, NeroVision, you might also want to get VirtualDub, DVDInfo Pro, TMPGEnc Studio, AutoGK. Tools that will help you convert downloaded file(s) to different formats BEFORE you can use DVD Authoring Tool(s) to make DVDs for your DVD Player!

When i want to burn movies, all i do is burn it as a VCD. works perfectly fine, but i also download it in two parts so i don't have to do the whole shrink stuff, and all that different stuff... VCD on nero works for me. I've done about 10 or 11 movies with that, and they werk perfectly fine on my dvd player in my house, and some work on my xbox too

all ya need is the plug ins for nero such as multichannel plugin ,dvd plugin, and any dvd 5 to rip and burn too ya little hearts content all these plug ins are installed with nero on install and the serials can be found at serials 2000.com
