Hey guys. I stumbled across this while just browsing around. It's a offline webpage with links to thousands and thousands of old games, some coming back from the early 1980's! It's really cool and it certainly brings back some memories, cannon fodder, soccer kid, sensible soccer. I'm posting this because I know a lot of people will appreciate this! :icon_prof

PS: Don't mind the Russian (I think) text because the links are all English and the word download sticks right out!

Peace!

Good list... but I am afraid of downloading any of this stuff because it could be infested with nasty virus things.... It is a great way of getting infected... just click on the *.exe file to install.

I just don't trust it. If anyone has good experiences with these links let us know. I am not going to be the guinia pig.

http://www.the-underdogs.org/ is a great site that is still up. Its got links to SOO many freeware/abandonware games, its really amazing. I haven't been there for a while, but it looks like the sites been revamped.

I would generally trust links from that site...but it can't hurt to scan stuff before installing.

Quantity vs. Quality. What i mean is, they might not be good quality games.

Thats why they call them freeware/abandonware.

I also recomend the underdogs it has been a great resource for the forgotten games and great for backups of games were the disks have gone corrupt beyond repair. Certain games arnt yet old enough to make it on the underdogs those you may need to do some searching but many are there and great still in this day in age. You just may have to play around a bit to get some of em working but they also have guides for that.
