Here are the GLORIOUS new news comments, and I couldn't imagine a better news story to test them on. Fuck the RIAA.

That's around about 526 per month, just over 6300 per year, or to put it another way, every file sharer sued retroactively within the next 9-10 thousand years.
Those are odds most people will continue to be happy to gamble on.
The only thing that is discouraging is I've less chance of winning the lottery than being set a letter from the RIAA. Damn!

Yeah I'm liking the new comments system.
Anyway, it'd be nice to use actual news web sites, not blogs, in your news submissions, but I guess it's OK.
And fuck the RIAA.

We need more aggressive anonymous p2p development. New laws being passed clearly favor the recording industry. We are not going to win this in court. This war can only be won by the continuing developement of p2p software to protect its users.

The RIAA is on its way to death. This is their death rattle. They can't continue to sue their potential customers without eventually alienating most of the population, including judges and prosecutors. It's only a matter of time until some hot shot's kid gets sued, then watch what happens.
What's really unbelievable is that the American people are tolerating such BS in the courts when police and prosecution should be paying attention to real criminal activity like the paedophilia epidemic and freeway shootings.
